Third physical meeting of the Erasmus+ project PROBANT

Johanniter Austria hosted the third face-to-face meeting of PROBANT in the city of the Habsburg. Our medical and educational experts met two full days and continued to work on developing First Aid material for the age group 8–12 years. They agreed on the medical topics that will be covered and soon illustrated. Methodological and pedagogical aspects also remained of primary concern.

The PROBANT consortium is looking forward to meeting online in the coming weeks and again face-to-face in early 2026.

Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, the project PROBANT stands for Premiers secours européens pour enfants. It is developing innovative educational materials introducing First Aid to children aged 8 to 12.

The expected effects in children are (1) awareness-raising of the importance of health, (2) empowerment through attention to one’s own well-being and caring for sick or injured people, (3) increased social engagement, (4) improved skills in the field of health and, in the long term, better employability.
