The JOIN Board held its first meeting of the year online. Participants included our Chair, Christian Velten-Jameson (France), our Vice-Chair, Petra Grell-Kunzinger (Austria), Friederike Moser von Filseck (Germany) and Andrew Grech (Malta).

The Board started to discuss potential projects in 2026, that includes mental health first aid, care for people with Dementia and first aid for young people. Further exchanges among JOIN members on this highly relevant topics will be encouraged in the coming weeks.

The latest activities taking place within the JOIN network were also discussed. The organisation of the AGM 2026 in Vienna was also addressed and the Board looks forward to physically meeting with JOIN delegates from 29 to 31 May in the Austrian capital.

Additionnaly, an update was provided on the implementation of the European projects SHIELD, PROBANT and TeamUP.
