On 17 October, the consortium of the iProcureSecurity project met face-to-face in Vienna. Johanniter Austria welcomed in its premises 16 participants from the partner organisations to discuss latest developments and future steps to be taken.
The overall aim of iProcureSecurity is to foster the cooperation and the response capacities of the European emergency medical service systems. It contributes to the creation of a Pan-European Network of medical emergency teams together with medical associations, research and innovation providers, medicine related media any other relevant stakeholders.
The meeting started with a presentation of the JOIN Office, who drafted in recent months a networking and engagement strategy aiming to involve relevant stakeholders in the field of European medical emergency services. Furthermore, the JOIN Office created a working plan aiming to establish strong synergies among existing networks and research projects to create a sustainable environment for knowledge exchange.
During the other presentations, the consortium partners engaged in brainstorming and moved forth with their strategic planning. The meeting also provided the opportunity to discuss specific actions to be undertaken in each working package.
