The Board of Johanniter International met online to discuss the latest activities as well as the organisation of a physical Annual General Meeting (AGM). Participants were our Chairman Johannes Bucher (Johanniter Austria), our Vice-Chairman Christian Velten-Jameson (Association des Œuvres de Saint-Jean), Mark Broughton (St John Ambulance England and The Islands), Hubertus von Puttkamer (Johanniter Germany) and Lidwien van der Reep (Johanniter Nederland).
The organisation of the physical AGM, planned for October in London, was the first topic to be discussed. Because of the persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic and its unpredictability in the coming weeks, it was -with deep regret- decided to hold only an online meeting on Friday 15th October in the afternoon. JOIN member organisations will receive detailed information in the next days.
The meeting continued with comprehensive financial information by our Vice-Chairman. The JOIN Office gave feedback on the working groups’ activities, including the regular update of our members’ activities to face the pandemic and the related social media campaign on JOIN facebook and instagram.
