The new Board of Johanniter International elected at the last Annual General Meeting met online to discuss the latest developments. Participants were our Chairman Mark Broughton (St John Ambulance), our Vice-Chairman Christian Velten-Jameson (Association des Œuvres de Saint-Jean), Johannes Bucher (Johanniter Austria) and Lidwien van der Reep (Johanniter Nederland).

The priorities for the next two years was the first topic addressed. The Board decided to further investigate the recruitment of new member organisations. The unpredictability of the situation resulting from the persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic was also discussed.

The meeting continued with comprehensive financial information by our Vice-Chairman. The JOIN Office gave feedback on the working groups’ activities, including the regular update of our members’ activities to face the pandemic. Finally, an update was provided on European project proposals recently submitted together with three different JOIN members.
