Our Latvian member Svētā Jāņa Palīdzība sent medicines and medical supplies (disposable gloves, diapers, bandaging material, etc.) to the Kharkiv Children’s Hospital. The medical supplies were provided according to a specifically requested list by the management of the Kharkiv Children’s Hospital. The loaded truck left Riga on 30th March and was received in Poland the following day. The cargo was then transferred to another vehicle and delivered to Lviv, from where the medical supplies were transported to Kharkiv Children’s Hospital by a smaller vehicle. The transport action was made possible thanks to donations from our Cypriot member (St John Association and Brigade Cyprus), our French member (Association des Œuvres de Saint-Jean), our Italian member (Soccorso dell`Ordine di San Giovanni) and our Maltese member (St John Malta).
