The JOIN Board held its final meeting of the year online. Participants included our Chair, Christian Velten-Jameson (France), our Vice-Chair, Petra Grell-Kunzinger (Austria), Friederike Moser von Filseck (Germany), and Andrew Grech (Malta).

A highlight of the meeting was a presentation by two representatives of our Swedish member organisation on Johanniterhjälpen’s Mental Health First Aid programme. Further exchanges on this highly relevant topic will be encouraged among other JOIN members.

The JOIN Office also provided detailed updates on the six research proposals submitted in mid-November under the Disaster Resilient Society calls. These proposals involve contributions from St John Malta, Johanniter Austria, and Johanniter Germany.

Looking ahead, the next Erasmus+ calls are expected in early 2026. The Board has identified five potential topics of interest, and JOIN members will be contacted soon to explore the possibility of preparing a proposal.

The JOIN Board will meet again in February 2026.
