The Disaster Resilience Days, organised under CERIS brought together experts, policymakers, practitioners, and innovators. The event focused on advancing disaster preparedness, resilience, and technological innovation in crisis management.
From 14th to 16th May, the Order of St John hosted the triennial Alliance and Joint Orders meeting at the historic St John’s Gate in London.
For the very first time, a set of common European-wide First Aid Guidelines was published by Johanniter International (JOIN) in 2019. Today, we make a revised and enhanced edition available to the public.
Johanniter Germany hosted the second face-to-face meeting in Munich, Bavaria. Our medical experts met two full days and started drafting a booklet.

The EU funded Project PROBANT will develop edicative materials aiming at introducting First Aid to children between 8 and 12 years.
The WeCare project brought together JOIN members from Austria and Germany, as well as partners from Poland, Italy and Serbia to address the challenges faces by healthcare professionals.
On 15th January, the JOIN Board came together in the European capital for its first meeting in 2025 led by our Chairman Christian Velten-Jameson.
In late November 2024, an Austrian Volunteer from Vienna visited St John Ambulance in England.
