Kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project PROBANT

The EU funded Project PROBANT will develop edicative materials aiming at introducting First Aid to children between 8 and 12 years.
PROBANT will empower children aged 8 to 12 with lifesaving first aid skills through fun and interactive modules. Featuring comic-style illustrations and an educational toolbox, learning materials will be freely available in English, Dutch, French, German, French, Greek, Italian and Ukrainian.
The Ukrainian version is designed to support both refugees and residents affected by the war.
Developed by experts in first aid, education and emergency medicine, the material developed will be tested in classrooms and improved thanks to teachers’ feedback. This will ensure high educational quality and includes a trainer’s guide for effective teaching.
The PROBANT project is co-funded by the European Union and promotes social inclusion and equips children with simple, universal skills that encourage responsibility, social engagement, and health awareness. It also enhances employability in the healthcare sector, addressing workforce shortages across Europe.
The consortium is led by Johanniter International and includes Johanniter Austria, Johanniter Germany, S.O.G.IT Italy and St John Cyprus.
