St John Ambulance is the leading first aid charity in England and exists since 1887. Each year more than 800,000 people complete a first aid training course with St John Ambulance. Other activities include ambulance services, youth work, homeless projects, care and the provision of first aid at public events such as the London Marathon.
In 2022 Her Majesty The Queen celebrates her 70th year on the throne. At the start of June, there will four spectacular celebrations across London with many thousands of people expected to attend from around the UK and the world. As Sovereign Head of the Order of St John, The Queen has asked St John to step forward and help make sure this unprecedented anniversary goes smoothly and safely.
We are excited to welcome dozens of trained volunteers to provide First Aid to the public across the events.
