Volunteer Swap in Sweden

As a young organisation, Johanniterhjälpen exists since 2005. Its large voluntary basis carries out many different projects, for example, first aid training and medical services at cultural and sport events.

The Project

Johanniterhjälpen will provide first aid, including automatic external defibrillators (AED) to the spectators of the annual open-air music event Sweden Rock Festival. The Festival started in 1992 and has since then developed into one of the most important rock and metal festivals in the world with 35,000 annual visitors from more than 50 different countries.

Acts like Iron Maiden, Kiss, Black Sabbath, Guns ‘n ‘ Roses, Rush, Judas Priest, Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Accept, Alice Cooper, Soundgarden, Mötley Crüe, Scorpions, Volbeat, ZZ Top, Sabaton and In Flames have all played at Sweden Rock over the years, more information about the event at https://www.swedenrock.com/en/
