On 29 May, representatives from Austria, Denmark, France, Jerusalem and Malta met at the main office of Johanniter Austria in Vienna for a meeting of the JOIN Fundraising Working Group

The TeamUP project hold its Table-Top Exercise and Integration Test on 6-7 May 2026 at the Czech Standardization Agency (CSA) in Prague.

At the end of April, four volunteers from the Johanniter regional association of Hanau & Main-Kinzig flew to Malta to join St John Malta in the medical coverage of the 2026 Malta Military Games.

The JOIN Board held its second meeting of the year online. Participants included our Chair, Christian Velten-Jameson (France), our Vice-Chair, Petra Grell-Kunzinger (Austria), Friederike Moser von Filseck (Germany) and Andrew Grech (Malta).

On 18th April, high-ranking representatives of the Order of Malta, the Johanniterorden, the Venerable Order of St John, the Johanniter Orde in Nederland and the Johanniterorden i Sverige came to Berlin for the annual meeting of the “Co-Operation Group”.

From 23 to 27 February, the TeamUP consortium gathered in Ranst, Belgium with more than 90 participants from 7 countries to evaluate over 20 CBRN-E technologies in an operational setting.

The JOIN Board held its first meeting of the year online. Participants included our Chair, Christian Velten-Jameson (France), our Vice-Chair, Petra Grell-Kunzinger (Austria), Friederike Moser von Filseck (Germany) and Andrew Grech (Malta).

Following several online meetings, the fourth face-to-face meeting of the Erasmus+ project PROBANT was held at the premises of Johanniter International in Brussels.

From 27 to 29 January 2026, the consortium of the SHIELD project held its Kick-off Meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania. Led by the German Johanniter-Akademie Mitteldeutschland in Leipzig, SHIELD aims to strengthen the resilience, safety and participation of people with disabilities to emergency preparedness and disaster management.
